Schwalbe / Bohle is based in Reichshof-Wehnrath (near Cologne) and is one of the foremost bicycle tire manufacturers in Germany and Western Europe. This family-owned company has been involved in the bicycling industry from its very inception. Founded in 1901, Bohle created the Schwalbe brand in 1971. Their "Marathon" touring tire has become the benchmark by which other tires are measured.
More recently, they have introduced their Stelvio line of competition racing tires in a full range of colors to complement your bike. These lightweight folding tires feature RaceGuard puncture protection so that flats won't slow you down.
