Louis Garneau, the founder of the company was a racer for 13 years and a Canadian champion cyclist. He started his company in his father's garage in 1983. The company has grown to more than 525 employees and has multiple manufacturing facilities in Canada and the USA. Since 1992, several Olympic teams from Canada and the U.S. have selected Louis Garneau apparel for their athletes.
