Zoot Women's CompressRx Socks are the answer to training, racing or recovery. Intensive prolonged bouts of exercise can result in deep muscle damage that may cause delayed onset muscle soreness, decreased range of motion, and impaired physical activity for up to 48 hours. Using external compression pressure increases tissue pressure, which decreases transmural vascular pressure (i.e., stretch of veins), resulting in relaxation of the vein. Zoot's CompressRx Socks prevent blood from "pooling" in the foot and increase blood flow to the muscles, therefore allowing greater muscle function for a longer period of time.
