Katie says: I recently raced a pool sprint triathlon which meant I needed a trisuit with low drag. The high neckline and locking zipper prevented the suit from gapping as I pulled through the water. I looked like a shark (I wore the blue suit :)) and I swam like one too!
The chamois in this suit was much more supportive then an average fleece tri chamois. It offered light, supportive cushion while the perforation aided with quick drying. The best part of all was that it went incognito on the run. I have a belly piercing and an unfinished zipper can cause irritation and distraction. The zipper in my suit was softly covered and sewn beautifully; I didn't notice it at all.
I was a little cynical of the “compression” story behind the suit UNTIL I raced in it. Racing a sprint is an all-out, 100% effort! The full length compression along my quads provided the support I needed. For the first time I was able to push harder, go faster and felt stronger than I ever thought possible. I felt unstoppable!
In the past I've allowed distractions to stand in the way of achieving my best performance. Racing in a supportive, worry-free suit allowed me to fully concentrate on my goals. The result was a female overall win and a new course record!
