What did we do before tights like these--did cold weather really mean staying inside? Luckily, Terry’s on our side: we want to ride, no matter what the weather! Windproof and water-repellent, these tights have brushed fleece on the inside, making cold temps a non-issue. With an ultra comfortable chamois and waistband, what’s not to love?

Great for really cold mornings.

(Avid Cyclist) November 29, 2014

I needed a new pair of winter cycling pants. I ride to work all year round and I live in upstate NY. The mornings can be quite cold here. So far I have ridden with these pants in weather down to 20F and my legs have been warm and comfortable. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is because the area between my waist and pubic bone gets chilly. I can feel a breeze as a ride and needed to buy some windproof underwear to wear with them.

  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit

Simply the warmest tight on the market

(Avid Cyclist) May 20, 2014

These are the warmest tights out there. Nothing else comes close, as I have tried many. They are windproof all the way around, not just like in the front as some others are. I have worn them road and mountain biking in cold and windy weather. They are toasty. I don't find the lack of a zipper problematic. I am petite, 5' 100 lbs and the xs fits me without being long. I agree with the other reviewer, and if you are between sizes, size up. The fabric is not very stretchy. It is durable and has held up well over time and in washing.

stained my white saddle

(Avid Cyclist) December 20, 2013

After 2 hours of riding I was shocked to find out the dye from the material had stained my white saddle to a grey color. I could not get it off the saddle and I'm pretty unhappy about it since the saddle was less than 6 months old. Other than than I did love the feel of the pants and they were comfortable. Did not bunch up at the knee or let the cold weather through. I really was happy with the pants till I found out about the dye issue.

Perfect

(Avid Cyclist) October 25, 2011

I wore these in 50 degree temps on a 25 mile bike ride. I was amazed how comfortable they were and warm. I did not overheat. The padding seems minimal, but was surprisingly comfortable. Did not have that diaper feel. I went out for a 2 mile run in them after my ride and was equally comfortable. I loved them so much I ordered another pair.

Warm and comfortable, but a snug fit

(Avid Cyclist) September 15, 2011

My usual size fits, but it's a close thing. The fabric is pretty dense and not very stretchy; the tights also seem to have a low rise (or maybe my butt is just bigger than I like to think). Anyway, if you think you're between sizes, I'd suggest going up rather than down.

I've worn these tights for running as well, and they were comfortable despite the chamois.

Not a real gripe, but I wish they had a key pocket somewhere.

These are fantastic

(Avid Cyclist) May 15, 2011

Once exercising I sometimes overheat even in the cold. These Terry tights are breathable and very comfortable and haven't caused me to feel overheated at all even at 10 - 14 Celsius.

Service comments: I placed my order on Friday and had my parcel by Thursday - well done. A fantastic effort for an international delivery.

Wonderful

(Casual/ Recreational) November 28, 2010

We went mountain bike riding in 40 degrees weather, slight wind and sunny. Legs were warm the whole time, I didn't get overheated the entire time. The padding was perfect - not to bulky - hardly noticed it there. Just wish it came in petite size because I'm 5' 1 1/2" and it was alittle to long but I made it work.

Pros
  • Warm
  • Comfortable
  • Breathable
  • Dries Quickly
  • Good Padding
Cons
  • Needs to come in Petite

Excellent

(Avid Cyclist) February 13, 2010

Riding in mid 20s winter weather road cycling, mountain biking, with no other bottom wear, these were totally windproof and warm. Amazing. Good ankle grippers and no ankle zipper, which is a plus in my book. Plan to use this under my ski pants for downhill skiing also. Padding comfortable, and it's offered in plus size. ( I wish Castelli had plus sized garments. ) High quality fabric. Don't confuse this with Terry's cool weather tight which is totally different.
