Love These Shorts

(Casual/ Recreational) July 25, 2013

I ride outdoors in summer (10-25 miles) and do a spin class at least 3 times a week. These are the most comfortable shorts I own. This is my second pair. They fit great - not too tight or too short. They are breathable and the padding doesn't feel like you're wearing a diaper. I fully endorse these bike shorts!

  • Good Padding
  • Breathable
  • Good Fit
  • Comfortable
Cons
Uses
  • Recreational Outdoor Biki
  • spin class

Terry shorts are perfect for me!

(Casual/ Recreational) July 22, 2013

I had tried on some other cycling shorts in the stores, but strongly disliked the dropped front waist. I ride a hybrid bike on which I sit mostly upright, so I want the waist to fit properly. These shorts are not overly snug and are perfect for someone who doesn't like the compression type. They do however, have padding that is just as good as the compression short have, but they allow for someone who maybe has a little stomach and wants a more relaxed short. I'm 5'5'' and about 150 lbs and the XL size fit me just perfectly! These are exactly what I wanted!

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
Cons
Uses
  • Warm Weather
  • Long Rides
  • Road Biking
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

I am training for a cross country trip and a friend suggested I try a pair of Terry brand shorts. These are hands down the most comfortable shorts I have worn. I am definitely getting a second pair for the trip.

Comfy!

(Casual/ Recreational) August 13, 2012

I ride once a week for 25-60 miles. These are my second pair of cycling shorts and are way more comfortable than the other brand shorts I had been wearing, which used to chafe me after 40 miles. I wore the Terry shorts for a metric century a week after buying them, and no chafing at all! The length is just right--not too long and not too short. The elastic is tight around my thighs (leaves a mark), but so do my other pair of shorts. My only real complaint is the outer fabric on my inner thighs had already started to wear (get fuzzy). I wash on the gentle cycle and air dry, so this shouldn't be happening (the reason for only 4 stars). Other wise, they are stylish, comfortable, and highly recommended if you ride over 35 miles at a time.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Dries Quickly
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Wears quickly
  • Tight around thighs
Uses
  • Long Rides
  • Road Biking
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Best women's cycling shorts ever!

(Casual/ Recreational) July 5, 2012

These shorts are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I have two pair now, and I'll probably order another. They don't chafe, and the padding is perfect. Great for a short ride a few times a week for fitness, or longer rides.

Best $ spent!

(Avid Cyclist) December 27, 2011

I wear these on long training rides and they are ALWAYS comfortable. The fabric feels like 'fabric'! Not spandex. I sit aero on my Tri bike and the padding is good. I'm planning on getting a few more pairs.

I would definitely buy this again

(Competitive Cyclist) May 29, 2011

I love these short, they are so comfortable. I've used them for everything from comuting, long (5h +) road and mountain bike rides, and long adventure racing bike legs. They don't chafe, the grippers don't dig in or give me blisters, can't even tell they are there. They are made from a material that is super comfortable, with just the right amount of stretch, and I don't think they will get see-through any time soon. Good for cool weather too. My only wish is that they had pockets.
