The Bolero from Terry takes the ingenious one-piece arm warmer idea even further, with a thicker fabric. Say goodbye to arm warmers slipping down, exposing your arms to the elements. Your arms and shoulders will stay warm and toasty in the coldest of rides. We love these, and you will too!

Bolero

(Avid Cyclist) July 2, 2012

Love to cycle in summer, but when we stop to eat at restaurants some are air conditioned too cold! This bolero really helps. Also, I love it when mornings are cool.

Pros
  • Easy to pack
  • Warm
  • Durable
  • Comfortable
  • Wicking
  • Dry Easily
Cons
Uses
  • Casual Riding
  • Road Cycling
  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Perfect!

(Avid Cyclist) January 8, 2012

I live in Florida and this is perfect for the cool winter morning rides. The temp heats up quick and a jacket is way too warm (and jackets are soooo expensive!!). I like that the arms can't fall down and it keeps your shoulders warm. If it gets too warm you can just peal it off and tie it around your waist. I have long arms and the sleeves are plenty long enough. Love it!

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Dry Easily
  • Durable
  • Wicking
  • Warm
Cons

Brilliant!

I LOVE this shrug. I had no idea how much I would actually wear this. I'm even wearing it casually, when I'm not cycling, throwing it over tank tops in the evening etc. It's not bulky, easy to pack in a camelbak or jersey pocket and if you live or ride in the mountains like I do, the temperature can literally go up (and down) 15 degrees in an hour or two- this shrug is very handy for such temperature fluctuations. It also completely eliminates the awful arm-warmers and sleeveless jersey look. I am going to get another shrug for sure in case I ever misplace the one I have!

Pros
  • Wicking
  • Dry Easily
  • Warm
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Hard to remove in action
Uses
  • Mountain Biking
  • Daily Use

a great idea

(Avid Cyclist) June 5, 2010

I first saw this on a 5-day bike tour, the gal that was using it loved it and wore it most mornings when the rest of us where using arm warmers or jackets...I quickly got myself one upon my return home...it is great for early morning or late evening rides when there is a slight chill in the air...it does a nice job of keeping the shoulders warm as well as the arms. It also fits in my seat bag or ties around my waist when not in use. My only complaint is that the arms are a tad long for me...I just fold them up and realize the extra length might even come in handy some day to help keep my wrists warm .

Yep - this is brilliant.

This is as good as it looks and does the job perfectly - no drafts and covers all the right bits. Even one of my crusty old male riding partners commented on what a great idea it was.
