Lynne says: This is the first one-piece tri suit I have ever worn. Previously, I have competed in tri shorts and a shimmel-type tri top. I was initially apprehensive - this is a VERY compressive suit. I thought it would best suit a person with a straighter body type - I am very curvy. But Susan was sure it would look good on me and insisted I try it on. It took a bit of a pull and wiggle pulling the suit on over the hips, but over the course of the day (and 3 bathroom trips), it relaxed a bit. The back zipper was easily managed with the attached lanyard. The suit does not come with a bra, but it is compressive enough that I decided I didn't need one. And I didn't; nothing moved, despite me being a B+ cup.
The swim - this was great! - no chafing, no binding. The skin-type fit meant that there was no extraneous fabric fluttering in the water. The suit simply vanished. The ride - again, great! The chamois was excellent; no discomfort. And the run - It was hot day and I had dead legs from the bike leg. But again, the suit kept me going! The compression on my quads and hamstrings was wonderfully helpful. I did not get overheated and never felt sticky during the run. The suit wicked everything away and kept my body temperature even. - did I mention that it was HOT?
Personal plusses - It didn't make me look fat. It kept all the extra Lynne neatly contained. The suite didn't bind around the back or the leg openings. And I knocked 3:50 off my time!
