Best sunglasses ever

(Avid Cyclist) November 26, 2012

Tifosi's Tyrant Fototec Polarized sunglasses are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. The Fototec technology works fast so you don't have to stress about changing lens if your ride starts at dawn and ends hours afterwards. Also very handy in sudden rain showers. They can fog up in temperature extremes but I use a no-fog product for diving so not an issue. I also found out the naked lens against my cheek bones developed a separation of the lens layers. Solved that with my 2nd pair by brushing a thin layer of nail glue on the exposed lens before I ever wore those Tyrants- never had an issue with them.
Polarized lenses are a must have for cycling in the desert- sun is harsh at first light and is blinding- I was riding by "braille" before the Polarized Tyrants.
Lenses are shatter proof- really- I went down hard on the bike this Spring, the Tyrants saved my left eye. Shredded the sunglasses and I have a dent in my forehead from the frames, but I'll take that over what could have happened! These are worth every penny.

Won't ride without 'em.

(Casual/ Recreational) August 16, 2012

Was very pleased with the snug fit for my small face. Glasses stay put over rough terrain...never have to push them back in place. Love how functional the lenses are. No issues with fogging during strenuous workouts.
