H.O.V. Commuter Jacket

This is okay; I've got to be comfortable if I'm hopping on and off the bike all day, right? Well, yes--but I've realized that I don't always have to sacrifice street style for the mobility, temperature regulation, and meticulous details that cycling clothing offers. The H.O.V. Jacket makes me feel like a fashionista with some common sense. The jacket has slits on each side that prevent it from bunching when I ride. The longer length and side slits also avoid the “duck tail” look that most cycling specific jackets have. The chest pocket holds my phone so it won't slip out, and two front pockets stash keys, cash, chapstick, train tickets—all the junk I need close at hand. The high neck keeps the wind out while I'm riding, and it looks sleek. Though the fabric blocks the wind, it's not a very insulated jacket. This is good because I often over-heat if I'm riding and wearing a heavy coat over a winter sweater, and it's no fun to arrive at a restaurant dripping with sweat on a cool evening. Aside from all the functional details, the H.O.V. Jacket simply looks super cute! It's a practical and functional piece of my wardrobe that doesn't scream “I'M ANONA, THE BIKE GEEK!”. "
