Love this jacket

(Casual/ Recreational) June 25, 2014

This is NOT a light weight, fast riding jacket. It's true to size but fairly roomy. I love it because it's a bolero, it's a vest, it's a jacket, and it has the all-important front facing zipped pockets on both sides. Pockets are pretty handy when you commute to work on a bike or do any other transportation-type riding. The ability to quickly remove the sleeves while your riding, thanks to the magnetic attachment system is great.

Pros
  • Great For Commuting
Cons

Great jacket

(Avid Athlete) March 27, 2013

This is a great find. I've used it for long road bike rides and walking. The fabric blocks wind really well - definitely warmer than a simple nylon wind breaker. I've not worn it in more than a light shower (kept me perfectly dry), so I can't say how it it does in heavy rain. It fits well, looks good. The pockets are roomy, great for stashing gloves, gels, etc. The sleeves come off easily and can be stored in the back pocket. You don't know the magnets are there until it's time to peel off the sleeves.

I find nothing to criticize. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Kept me dry in heavy rain

(Casual/ Recreational) August 28, 2012

The jacket kept me dry during pouring rain in Canada, but some water collected at the wrists because the wrist openings were a little loose. Very stylish, love the magnets holding vest and jacket together for rapid removal and replacement.

Awesome purchase

(Casual/ Recreational) June 19, 2012

Got this jacket for cycling. I tend to run cold at a ride's beginning and this works. I had a jacket like this when a runner...this design is an awesome improvement. No wasted time with zipping sleeves on and off. The magnets allow me to pull the sleeves off while on the bike and stuff them in the jersey or vest pocket. Cuts the wind and does ok repelling our fine misty Seattle weather (not a rain coat however). Looks good at the coffee shop. Washes well, just enough pockets to be useful, simple design. I am 5'2", 114lbs and got a small so I could wear over 2 layers on our cold "summer" days, otherwise an XS would work for a closer fit.

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Lightweight
  • Great design
Cons
  • Wish zipper was two-way

Not just a good looking Jacket!

(Avid Athlete) June 3, 2011

I mountain/road ride 4 times a week and run 2-3 times a week. It has been a great addition to the workout gear. Got caught in a big rain storm and the coat kept the rain out and dried quickly. Very pleased with the look and feel of the jacket/vest. I have taken the sleeves off and just used it as a vest to get more air while riding and worked well. I would recommend this jacket.

Love it!

(Avid Athlete) April 25, 2011

I got this jacket in fear of rain for an upcoming Century I had. Ended up with lots of wind instead and this Jacket was awesome! I wore it again the other day during an early morning ride and it was great. I love the way it can come apart to make a vest and can store it in the back pocket while riding. LOVE IT! Very true to size. I originally got a LG thinking it might run small and had to return for a medium.

Perfect!

(Casual/ Recreational) April 21, 2011

I just love this jacket - Exactly what I had been searching for! Magnetic clip on bolero type sleeves means that this jacket is perfect for all weather types. Got caught in a down pour the other day and remained dry! Bolero fits perfectly in back pocket for those times when sleeves are not required.

Service comments: Delivery was quick to Australia - postage is an added expense, but add more to your order (from the fantastic range of gorgeous wear) and spread the cost of postage!!
