Sugoi pulled out all the stops with their RSE Bib Short. Aggressive styling, ultra-comfortable Cross-back bib straps, and their most advanced chamois. No comfort feature is overlooked with these; they’ve even eliminated an inseam for reduced bulk! There’s nothing to hinder you here, no reasons to worry about anything other than your ride. Comfortable and fast: what a combo.

Anna says: I rode in this bib short two days in a row (washing in between, of course) the first weekend that I got them and I love them! The first day I rode 60 miles and the next day I rode 100 and I can say these shorts feel as good on mile 1 as they do at the end of a century. The edits that Sugoi made to the 2011 bib tight made a big difference in comfort on the bike. I am very happy to see the silicone leg gripper go as well as a slightly shorter inseam from their 2010 model. The fabric offers just the right amount of support and doesn't relax after 30 miles like some fabrics. The subtle gridded texture feels great and looks fast!
I was a little concerned when I first put them on that the straps were a little thin, however I never feel them while riding, even when I spend all day in the saddle. The upper mesh and bonus pocket will sure come in handy when it warms up enough in Oregon to wear these rad bibs without leg warmers and baselayers under a rain jacket! I also find the crisscross back detail to hold the straps securely and avoid having an upper that covers the majority of my back. It's an elegant solution and well detailed, there's no gaping or bunching of fabric.
Oh, I haven't mentioned the chamois yet! It's so right that I don't notice it, which is what I've come to expect from the best chamois, they should just blend in! The main padded bits sit directly under my sits bones and it's not too wide or narrow. I dare say it's my favorite chamois to date, perfect density, position, details, and shape.
I do have one caution regarding the care of these bibs; wash them in cold and do not dry (even on low for 10 minutes) unless you want the logos to peel. I stuck them in the dryer briefly but it was enough to cause the logos to start to detach. I don't mind it so much, but I find that these bibs easily dry out over night (even the chamois) if I hang them up inside out.
