This might sound funny to y'all, but in my opinion, the sign of a good chamois is that it doesn't have a life of its own. The RC Pro chamois "stays put" in just the right place; there is no rubbing, chafing, or movement to remind me that it's there! This is great, because I prefer that my LEGS let me know how hard I've been riding :-) Thermal knickers are perfect for spring rides, because they let me be excited about slightly warmer temperatures, but I don't make the mistake of wearing shorts and freezing. The same goes for fall, when I'm mentally not ready for tights, but when the chilly breeze hits the knees. Since I wear them for at least two seasons, knickers are arguably the most important and versatile piece in my wardrobe!
