Sugoi Women's 4 inch Tri Shorty

(Avid Cyclist) October 26, 2013

As I'm vertically challenged, I love the short inseam of these. They fit just right without looking like "short shorts". The padding is exactly where I need it. The leg grippers work beautifully. Living in Florida where it's usually hot and steamy, I find these wick out moisture quickly and I never have any problems with chafing.

Good for shorter rides or races

(Avid Cyclist) September 4, 2012

I wear these shorts during training. They're great for running, swimming, and cycling - all at short distances. The exposed seams tend to irritate my legs after a while, especially during longer brick workouts. Other than that they're a real comfortable pair of tri shorts! I love the length and the silicone grippers prevent them from riding up my thighs without pinching. Would recommend the purchase if you don't plan on wearing them for more than 1 or 2 hours.

Pros
  • Dries Quickly
  • Comfortable
  • Breathable
  • Perfect length
  • Comfortable fit
  • Good Fit
Cons

I want another pair

(Avid Cyclist) August 23, 2012

Use these shorts weekly for duathlon training and I want another pair. Got them about a month ago and so far they're durable and fit just right with the shorter length. Unlike my Pearl Izumi tri shorts which are 6" and too tight on my thighs which I'm 5'7/140lbs. I do wish for a better pocket, there's just a small key pocket in the front hip which bulges out and can't fit gel packs.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Good Fit
  • Durable
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Inadequate Pockets
Uses
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Excellent buy

(Avid Cyclist) August 16, 2012

I purchased these for my first duathlon, so I don't really have anything to compare them to. However, I thought they were an excellent purchase. They fit nicely, and were very comfortable to ride in. I've now used them on other practice rides and found that they were comfortable for those as well. Overall good purchase for a good price.

  • Good Padding

Great little short

(Casual/ Recreational) July 14, 2012

I bike mostly to avoid driving. Work, errands etc. I hate the big pads in most bike shorts and I am short so I like short inseams.. These shorts are great. I am 5'3" with 25"waist, 33"hips and muscular thighs. The small fit perfectly. The pad is thin so they might not be great for long distances but when you get off your bike you can walk around without being uncomfortable.
I would give 5 stars if the leg grippers were material instead of silicone.

  • Dries Quickly
  • Durable
  • Good Padding

Great tri shorts!

(Casual/ Recreational) July 9, 2012

I got these for my first triathlon and really loved them. I had bought a couple other pairs and didn't like how long they were so I found that the 4 inch ones were just perfect. I am about 5'9 and they weren't too short. They were really comfortable for a sprint tri, but I am not sure about longer distance tri's. Overall I was very please with them and they were a great price too compared to many others!

  • Good Fit
  • Comfortable
Cons
