details

Katie says: I've had the Seca tires on my time trial bike for the last 4 months. On average I ride 6-10 hours a week. Riding along what I like to call "The Dirty Hwy 30" and pedaling in mind numbing hours....on the trainer, I've put these tires to the test! Knock on wood - Thus far I've had no flats! These tires have the quality and protection I can trust.

  • Serfas' Intergrated Protection System creates an armour-like shield between two distinct rubber casings for unrivaled puncture resistance
  • 60 durometer center ridge for long life and 56 durometer sides for enhanced cornering stability
  • Weight: 185 grams
  • PSI: 130
  • Size: 650x23C
  • Bead: Folding

Folding Tire

A folding tire is a special version of the clincher tire. In this tire, the wire is replaced with a bundle of Kevlar fibers that allows it to fold easily and also makes the tire lighter than a comparable beaded tire by about 50 - 90 grams.

Note: Each tire is sold individually (one per box)

Really like these!

(Avid Cyclist) January 3, 2012

I have 650 Zipp wheels, and getting tires on and off these things is notoriously hard (do a google search if you don't believe me). I have tried 4 other brands of tires in the past without success, but the Serfa has been great! The ride is super smooth, and I am sure I would use these as race tires. I have only had them on for about a month, so can't comment on the wear, but I am no longer terrifed of not being able to change a flat on the road because I can't get the tire on the wheel.

Pros
  • Smooth ride
  • Easy to put on
Cons
Uses
  • Road Biking
