Can't Wait to Wear Them

(Casual/ Recreational) June 26, 2015

Love the fabric and length. The capris fit but the liner cut is a bit too narrow for my midriff. This is my first Shebeest purchase, so I'm not sure if the brand knows how to accommodate plus-size curves. Keeping them, since it's hard to find loose-fitting cycling bottoms. Will cycle off a few more pounds so I can try them out in the saddle.

Pros
Cons
  • Poor Fit
Uses
  • Waist: Feels too small
  • Length: Feels true to length

Capri pants

(Casual/ Recreational) May 4, 2015

Very poor fitting with or without the chamois. Fabric bunches up in the groin. The rise is too low. I couldn't make them work at all. Sending them back. I also don't like the white stitching. Would prefer stitching to match the color of shorts.

Nice stylish design that fits true to size

(Casual/ Recreational) May 3, 2015

This is my first time ordering from TE, so I relied heavily on the sizing chart. Ordered a 1x, and the chart was perfect!I wanted something that I could wear out in public without feeling self conscious. These are perfect! The clincher for me was the removable liner/pad with shorts. Very easy to remove, and the capris are nice on their own. I really like them, would recommend

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
  • Good Pockets
Cons
Uses
  • Long Rides
  • Warm Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

I would buy these again

(Casual/ Recreational) April 7, 2015

I really love these capris. I am new to cycling- currently training for a 30 mile ride- these are very comfortable. I wanted the padded shorts, but self-conscious of wearing the tight shorts.
So, these are great. Planning to buy another pair and shorts like this as well.

Check topstiching carefully

(Casual/ Recreational) July 28, 2014

I'd only recommend buying these if you can check them over in person first or if you don't mind paying return shipping in case it doesn't work out.

Before you wear them, check the top stitching carefully. I wore these one time and upon laundering them (hand washed, drip dry) found that the topstitching in the rear seam of the capri pant is unravelling. TE doesn't have any more in my size or I would request an exchange so I think I'll find someone with a sewing machine to fix this for me.

Other than the poor seam quality on the outer capri, I like this garment. There is a lot of padding - a bit more than I'd like.

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Dries Quickly
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
Cons
  • Weak Seams
Uses
  • Commuting
  • Long Rides
  • Mountain Biking
  • Road Biking

Great pants!

(Casual/ Recreational) July 17, 2014

I don't like the sausage leg look I get with traditional cycling pants so I thought I'd give these a try. They're very comfortable and have some give to them so they don't bind anywhere. They look nice and fit well. I really like the drawstring addition to the waist.

  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
Cons
Uses

My favorite!

(Avid Cyclist) June 5, 2014

I wish Shebeest made them in more colors ~ I wear the capris all the time w/o the liner just because they're so comfortable. In my opinion shebeest has the best chamois out there for women. I got these to wear when spandex just wasn't a look I was wanting to flaunt ~ for a first date cycling...and I fell in love {with the shorts}. The guy, no. I want lots and lots of these :) In blue, tan, etc. waiting for shebeest to make that available!

My new favorites

(Avid Cyclist) December 2, 2013

At first I wasn't sure I would like that these had a separate liner. I have previously only worn traditional bike shorts. I have come to love them. After a ride you can switch to wearing these as regular capris. I have hiked in them and love that they are light weight and quick dry. The one minor improvement I would like is to see the pockets tacked down to the inside of the capris so they don't come out. I have scars on both legs from an injury and appreciate the length without adding bulk or being worried about how hot they will be. I am hoping Santa brings another pair. They are ALWAYS in the pack for our multi-day trips.

Padded liners with Capri Pants

(Casual/ Recreational) December 2, 2013

Padding is very dense and firm. I have ridden 20 - 25 miles in them several times and a few shorter rides. Not sure if they will be comfortable on longer rides or if they might need a little more softness. Like that the padded liner is seperate from capri pants. Capri pants have mesh at top back for breathablility.
