Perfect length, perfect chamois:)

(Casual/ Recreational) September 8, 2014

I'm short (5'3) so capris tend to overwhelm my frame. These stop just below the knee to add length, which is particularly important when you're wearing athletic shoes - hallelujah! I also appreciated the streamlined chamois - I rode 25 miles a day in them, and they provided plenty of padding, without looking or feeling bulky. Look great by themselves and super-cute with a skirt over - definitely going to invest in another pair!

My new favorite knicker!

(Avid Cyclist) March 17, 2014

These are very comfortable knickers. They dry quickly and are warm when wet (not clamy). I wore these on an 80-miles ride this past weekend with temps ranging from 46*F - 75*F. These knickers were so comfortable that I never even thought about them! I have used them at the gym for spin classes, too. I like the small waist band and loose leg openings below the knee. The padding is good, also.

These are THE BEST!

(Casual/ Recreational) April 25, 2013

I'm 5'4" 150lbs, usually about a size 10 in jeans. I bought a size L and they fit perfectly! I love that the rise is a little bit higher so there is no gut over-hang. They hit below the knee and did not ride up during spin class. They made me look slender, were super comfortable, and kept me protected during my first grueling spin class with them on. I was very impressed with how well the padding worked because it seemed thin at first.

Happy to See This Shindigger Back!

(Casual/ Recreational) March 6, 2013

These are the most comfortable knickers I have ever owned. I was sad when my only pair finally gave out after years and years of wear. When I was ready to buy another pair, could not find them anywhere. Thank you, Team Estrogen! These knickers are non-binding, I have no problems with chafing, they are soft and do not feel like you are wearing a ton of padding. I have worn on long rides, short rides and use in my indoor cycling class. I will be buying another pair!

Great cycle pant

(Avid Cyclist) March 1, 2011

Love them...they work great for 1-2 hour rides...and not bulky like some cycle pants. I did go up a size. Usually wear a medium, but was concerned would be too tight since I have athletic thighs. The large fit well. The length is just where I wanted it to be, right below the knee. Great pants. Will probably purchase another pair.

the best

(Casual/ Recreational) February 20, 2011

Bought these for road cycling and spin classes. They are definitely my favorites. Luckily, they dry super fast, because I wear them at least 4 days a week. The fit is awesome! Compression, but not embarrassing and the padding is slim, but does the job. The slit on the leg keeps calf binding at bay. I only wish Shebeest made a regular gym pant for my non-cycling days.

Great low profile knicker

(Avid Cyclist) December 14, 2010

These are really great knickers. I absolutely love the length and that there aren't any grippers on the calves (how avid cyclists can stand grippers w toned muscly calves is beyond me). The chamois in these knickers last me until about my 15th mile. Then I start feeling the saddle. Great for spin class or short road ride. Shebeest makes quality clothes. I've had these for about 2 years now and there is no sign of wear. I just wish there was a little more padding.

Very Comfortable

(Avid Cyclist) November 22, 2010

I use these for spin class and for long road rides. The padding is just perfect for me and does not chafe. I am tall and they seem to fit just right. I like the fact that they do not have tight elastic around the leg.

My new favorites

(Avid Cyclist) April 21, 2010

When I first got these, I was a little apprehensive because the chamois is really slender through the crotch -- I was worried that I'd start to chafe after a long ride. To my surprise, they're my most comfortable bottoms. They stay in place, the chamois is actually superior to some of my "higher-end" shorts (especially on my butt bone!), and they don't dig in anywhere. It's nice that they extend over the knee, but they're still suitable for really warm weather. I'll be buying another pair or two because I get so much use out of the ones I have now.

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Dries Quickly
  • Good Padding

Love these capris!

(Casual/ Recreational) September 14, 2009

I am in love with these! I use them for my high intensity spinning class and they feel GREAT! The small chamois provided more comfort than the cheap Canari's that have the thicker padding. The smart design to the chamois proves that it's about how you are covered, not how much padding there is. I love that these are gripper free and they fall just below the knee making them not too warm. I will definitely be buying more Shebeest bottoms!
