Perfect. Bought these for the bike trip from Pittsburgh to Washington D.C. These are the most comfortable pants. A little expensive but well worth the money.

Functional, not great

(Avid Cyclist) June 4, 2013

I like the quality of the capris, but the fit was not flattering (made my thighs look bigger, I thought). The length was wrong for me--hit my calves at their largest (I'm 5'4" and bought small)and wanted to go up or down further on my leg to be more comfortable. The chamois is popular, but only okay for me. I like the Shebeest Century Elite chamois better. In all, I can see why some people love these, but they aren't the best for me.

My new favourites

(Competitive Cyclist) May 2, 2013

These knicks were so comfortable the first use that I washed them immediately so I could wear them again the next day.

To stop me doing that again, I'm going to order another couple of pairs.

They're snug without being constrictive, smooth while not sliding off the saddle and don't move a bit while cycling. Big love.

I love these cycling knickers!

(Avid Cyclist) April 25, 2013

I have bought these knickers for years. The chamois is awesome. Not too bulky, just right. My only criticism is that the material changed from that of several years ago. I loved the old material without the stitching along the front of the knicker. Despite, they are a perfect fit. Thank you!

It's all about the Shebeest Capri length

(Avid Cyclist) March 7, 2013

First pair was bought about the time low waisted jeans became popular. Wasn't used to the waist. I would always be pulling them up. Not a seam or even a thread break. Riders are always asking me what brand they are because of the length. What they have hits at knee or bunches up behind knee. The Shebeest Capri's are perfect length. Stays at mid calf and never bunches up. The only reason I have for not rating this product a five, was I liked the very old material better.

  • Comfortable

Good value knicker

(Avid Cyclist) February 23, 2013

The chamois doesn't shift and stays in place. Size M fits me well with my 30" waist and 40" hips. I wear it to spin or on more casual rides. (However, for a metric or longer ride I'd go with a denser chamois and more compression like the Sugoi FX.) I like this knicker a lot, and it is getting a lot of wear especially for my spin classes. It seems to be holding up well in the wash.

Worth every penny

(Avid Cyclist) November 1, 2011

These cycling capris are awesome! Extremely comfortable. I waver between small and medium bottoms in exercise clothes. I bought a small in these, and they fit great. Snug, but not too tight. The padding is wonderful. I've worn these for rides in 40 degree weather and my legs weren't cold. The fabric is extremely soft. The only con I have for these pants is my butt feels a little slippery on the seat. I think from the soft fabric. But it's not like my butt has ever slipped off the seat or anything. Would definitely buy again...but I don't have to because I think these will last a long time.

Favorite Chamois/pant combo so far

(Avid Cyclist) October 12, 2011

I use these over all other shorts/knickers/tights I have. I've worn them in 80+ degree and 40 degree weather. The chamois is by far the most comfortable. It actually protects up front and protects well. You can tell these were actually designed for women. Good for the aero position in road biking. At under 5'3" and they hit at an odd spot about 3-4 inches above my ankle. Even so the legs do not ride up and are comfortable. I could see needing more padding at 40+miles. The fabric feels like old 70's polyester suit material, but once on legs is fine. The only con is that the fabric pills badly on the inner thighs where thighs rub against the saddle. It seems it will eventually compromise the integrity of the material. Even so, I'd buy another pair, or three.

  • Warm
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
  • Dries Quickly

These are so cute

(Casual/ Recreational) August 31, 2011

These knickers are comfortable and actually stylish looking. There have been a couple of days I had to wear them as part of my outfit because I wouldn't have time to change into them later. They look cute with a long shirt over them. As to fit, I normally wear a large in cycling clothes, these were no different. Durability: Have only washed them 3 times but no problems. The gel thing around the calves does not constrict my legs or make my calves look like sausages & I've worn them for 8 hrs at work twice now. I don't have small calves but they are not super big either. Unlike others, I do not recommend them for really long rides. I'd say they're good for rides up to 20mi. Everyone is different & it also depends on your seat. So test it out yourself but I was not as comfortable as I wanted to be at that point. I still recommend them though!

Service comments: Team estrogen is awesome with how fast they ship. I have ordered from them 3 times and my stuff always got here to CA within 3 days, regular shipping. I love that!

Great Knickers

(Avid Cyclist) July 13, 2011

Love these!

(Casual/ Recreational) May 23, 2011

LOVE these! I'm 5'2", so I can't wear full length cycling tights without rolling them up and the shorts are too cool for a good portion of the year I cycle. I live in New England, so half the time I'm on my bike the temps are in the 50's-60's. These would be absolutely perfect if they had a petite length, but other than that they are wonderful! I bought the SSS Short first and they are both worth the extra money. They're the best cycling bottoms I've ever worn!

Really great quality (and value)

(Avid Cyclist) April 22, 2011

I bought this pair of knickers from TE and a comparably priced competing pair from another website. This pair is far and away the better value. They are far better constructed (8-panel, really flat seams), the fabric is far more supportive, and the chamois is much more substantial. They do fit snug, but in a good way -- a way that really feels like it's supporting your muscles. The waist is nice and high in back and comfortably low in front -- definitely no gaps and no pulling down. I wear these for spin class and will be calling on them for outdoor rides soon. They seem to wash/dry well.

These are sweet!

(Casual/ Recreational) March 29, 2011

I've had these for about a month and have only been able to use them for cold weather riding under tights and so far I love them. I'm a big woman (5'7" and 175 lbs) and the extra large fits perfectly.

I find them more comfortable than shorts in that they don't cut across the fattest part of my thighs, but end well below my knee. They provide excellent compression/support and provide a much more flattering profile for my shape/body type.

I'm looking forward to wearing them in cool weather without the tights and hope to be able to wear them in warmer weather also. The chamois works well for me on short to long (25-80 mile) road rides. I will definitely buy another pair and hope that a summer/hot weather version becomes available.

Love these for the fit and the look

(Avid Cyclist) November 9, 2010

Love these tights! I like to cycle in Europe on holiday and feel too exposed in the small villages in my cycling shorts so I wear a skort in hot weather and these when it's cold. They are unbelievably comfortable and actually look good on - must be those slimming seams.

Awesome Just what I was looking for

(Avid Cyclist) September 2, 2010

I was looking for a pair of good quality 3/4 long cycling pants as hate wearing shorts becuase they tend to cut into my not so shaped thighs (I am a size 12 and have just started riding in the last 4 months)These are everything I was looking for, they are comfortable and firm but doesn't dig into the waist, not too high in the front but excellent coverage in the rear. Incredibly durable - I have come off alot on the jagged rocks well known on the Alice Springs trails and not once have I had a tear or shearing - heaps of bruises tho:) I find the padding fine, but then again you can be off your bike going downhill as on it. Very pleased!

My Favourite Capri.

(Avid Cyclist) June 15, 2010

I just love these capri's. They are just the right fit for me (I am XS & most are too big with waistband too high). They provide enough warmth for all but the coldest mornings here in South Australia's winter. I've done 100 mi in these with no adverse effect from the chamois. Would recommend to anyone.

(Avid Cyclist) November 28, 2009
