not much thought

(Avid Cyclist) October 11, 2012

these tights have a nice chamois and the fabric of the tights are soft and comfy and warm, but unless you are six feet tall you will have to either cut off the bottoms or tuck them in so you will lose the logo since this is at the ankle. I am 162 cm and I purchased a small and they were so long I had to shorten them as the elastic was too uncomfortable over my foot. a lot more thought as to the practicle nature of cycling was needed for these tights

Pros
  • Breathable
  • Good Padding
  • Warm
Cons
Uses
  • Cold Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels too long

good for cool temperatures

(Casual/ Recreational) February 14, 2012

These tights are great for temperatures in the 50s and low 60s. They are comfortable and the bike padding is just like the shorts. They are a bit difficult to get on without ankle zippers, but I like them so much I have been wearing them this winter, and even got a second pair.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
Cons
Uses
  • Road Biking
  • Cold Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Great for cool weather riding

(Avid Cyclist) January 6, 2012

I've tried all other brands and Shebeest is by far my favorite. (I have the S-Pro short and the Pedal Pusher, also.) Love the fit, the padding, the comfort. I always wear them on long rides (100+ miles)and have no chafing or discomfort issues.

Awesome!

(Avid Cyclist) November 7, 2010

I love these pants. I have the Sheebest Triple S shorts and I love them, so I decided to try these. It's been difficult trying to find pants for late fall riding. I wore these today (wx high was 46) and I was comfortable all day. The chamois pad is soft and has just the right amount of padding. They are a nice length - not too short and not too long. And, the material is very comfortable. They do not have zippers on the bottom - but with the chamois pad built in, these are pants that I'm going to wear when I know I won't need to take layers off on the bottom! I have been looking for the perfect cycling pants, and I think I've found them!

Pros
  • Durable
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
  • Breathable
  • Warm
  • Dries Quickly
  • Comfortable
Cons

Great for short rides

(Avid Cyclist) November 7, 2010

These tights are a bit too long for me so I have them bunched around my ankles- however this is not too noticable. I like a firm, dense chammois and this is a bit too soft. It's warm but not wind proof but is fine for short rides such as commuting or less than 50km. These tights are VERY durable however. I had a serious accident in which my jacket, baselayer and gloves were very badly torn and I ended up with servere road rash on my arms and hip. My tights however were undamaged (even in the hip area) and I still use them.

Pros
  • Durable
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Poor Fit
  • Not wind proof
  • Not Enough Padding
Uses
  • Cold Weather
  • Road Biking
  • Commuting
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels too long

Warm and comfortable

(Avid Cyclist) October 24, 2010

I ride about 30 miles for training a few times a week, and I was looking for a nice fall weight tight for cooler weather. The Shebeest tights are really comfortable: the padding is not bulky, the waistline sits well against the skin, and the fabric wicks moisture away quickly, all allowing for a comfortable ride. The only downfall is that there isn't a zipper at the ankle which means that you have to hook the bottom of the tight around the heel of your foot. But this isn't a big deal and certainly the pros of the tights outweigh the lack of a zipper.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Dries Quickly
  • Warm
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Breathable
Cons
  • No ankle zipper
