There is a reason this skort is called the Nirvana. Great for bike tours, casual rides or anytime you don’t feel like wearing snug-fitting Lycra, the shebeest Nirvana Cycloskort has got you covered. We love the liner short and yoga-style waistband and the gripper free legs.

Nirvana Cycloskort

(Casual/ Recreational) August 30, 2011

Iam a short 5'1 Baby Boomer age Grandma of 5. I Love this skirt. Because of my height it might be a tad long. So if you are tall it might be short or just right. I bought a Large and am anywhere from a size 10 to 12. depending on the season.I am of the age I do not care to be in confining clothing. And for me this is Perfect. Padding thick but not bothersome.I Spin and ride outside 10 to 12 miles 3to4 x's a week weather and seasons permitting.

Service comments: Delivery was prompt and in good condition. Will order from this Company again.

Disappointed

(Avid Cyclist) May 25, 2011

I just got this and have tried it on a long road ride and in spinning class. I wanted a skort because I can put it on at the office and go straight to the bike ride, which I wouldn't do in spandex shorts or tights. Also don't mind going into a restaurant or grocery store after a ride. BUT, I have several bottoms of this brand, all medium size, and ordered this with confidence. However, the undershorts are too big--no compression whatsoever, and no grippers at the bottom of the legs so that they constantly creep up--annoying during a ride. Maybe a smaller size would have been better, but the overskirt falls nicely and wouldn't want it to be much tighter. Planned to use this on a long bike tour this summer, but the leg creep is too aggravating on a long ride.

Pros
  • Breathable
  • Nice length
  • Cute
  • Dries Quickly
  • Well made-good waistline
  • Quality material
Cons
  • Too big
  • Poor Fit
  • Legs creep up
Uses
  • Warm Weather
  • Touring
  • Commuting
  • Road Biking
  • Waist: Feels too big
  • Length: Feels true to length

Looks Great!

(Avid Cyclist) August 8, 2010

I love how this skirt looks and feels. The legs and waist aren't binding, the skirt flows nicely, the color underneath is like a little surprise. The only problem with it is the pad, it needs to be much denser, it is really not much protection from the bike saddle. I wouldn't wear this on any ride longer than say 25 miles, but for messing around and looking great, this is it.

Pros
  • Good Fit
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not Enough Padding
Uses
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length
