Sorry, this product is no longer available.

When it's just chilly enough outside to require a bit of warmth over the front of the foot - but not the whole enchilada - our CalienToes add enough heat over the toes without the bulk of a full shoe cover.

Pretty happy with these

(Avid Cyclist) June 4, 2011

Found these made a significant difference to toe warmth and comfort without the hothouse feeling of full booties. Have only worn them in 13C/55F(?)so far, but expect I will get a lot of 'between' season wear out of them.

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Warm
Cons
Uses
  • Road Cycling
  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Great investment

(Casual/ Recreational) January 23, 2011

One of the better investments I can remember. They are not as warm as booties but they work quite well for cutting the majority of the cold. I leave mine on my shoes from October through April. Yes, there are holes where the treads are but it doesn't affect their function. With a a pair of Smartwool socks, I can ride down to 28 degrees.I bought mine 4-5 years ago and they are still going strong, keeping my feet warm. Pretty good for [$]

  • Warm

Best for roadies

(Avid Cyclist) December 16, 2009

My feet get cold easily, so I wear the Calientoes whenever the temperatures drop. The Calientoes do a great job keeping the wind from entering the ventilated toe box on my shoes. What I dislike about the Calientoes is that the material used on the bottoms is not very durable. I've found that they wear through easily if I use them for commuting, or on rides when I'm on and off the bike alot. So, I recommend them more for roadies or racers that will use them to cover road shoes and don't plan to walk around in them a whole lot.

Pros
  • Warm
  • Dry Easily
Cons
  • Wears through Toe
Uses
  • Wet Weather
  • Road Cycling
  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Not worth it...

(Avid Cyclist) December 6, 2009

No protection - feet still just as cold as going without any toe warmers. I guess you get what you pay for.
