Nice Shoes!

(Avid Cyclist) March 4, 2014

I'm a 7 or 7 1/2. The sizing chart had me wondering if I should get the 39 or 40. I chose the 40. I've got a bit of wiggle room in the toe, but they are not too big. The 39 may have felt snug. I like how the laces tuck into the tongue. Also, I like the ability to walk around comfortably off the bike and that they look like any pair of athletic shoes

Pros
  • Good for Walking
  • Well Ventilated
Cons
Uses
  • Everyday riding
  • Long-distance riding
  • Sizing: Feels true to size
  • Width: Feels true to width

LOVE these Shoes!

(Casual/ Recreational) May 24, 2012

I have had these shoes for a few weeks and am still getting compliments. People are shocked that they have cleats because they "look like regular tennis shoes". They are super comfortable. One of my favorite features is the little pocket on the tongue of the shoe that I can tuck my laces into while I'm riding. I also like that I can run into a store or business without click-clacking (too much). I generally wear street clothes with bike shorts underneath so I like that these shoes are kind of incognito. If they had shoes that felt like this in a summery sandal... I'd buy them in a heartbeat!

Pros
  • Simple to Use
  • Durable Sole
  • Good for Walking
  • Well Ventilated
Cons
Uses
  • Commuter shoes
  • Everyday riding
  • Width: Feels true to width
  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Like the Song "Cute, Cute, Cute"

(Avid Cyclist) April 26, 2012

I was leary buying a pair of cycling shoes on-line, but Team Estrogen pulled it off again. Their description was accurate and made me feel secure in my purchase. I was very surprised and happy how they shoes fit my feet, since some/most companies do not manufacture to size.

  • Durable Sole
  • Comfortable
  • Well Ventilated
  • Simple to Use
Cons

  • Spin Class

LOVE!!

(Avid Cyclist) March 2, 2012

I'm very used to using SPD pedals on my road bike. When I got my commuter bike--with platform pedals--I felt unhinged, as if I was driving without a seatbelt. However, I didn't want to use my cycling shoes all the time.

These shoes are the perfect solution! They accept SPD cleats, which I installed myself with no problem at all (and I'm not mechanically gifted). I took them for a test ride last week, and they were perfect--the sole is stiff enough to give great power transfer (I think that's the term), yet walk like my most comfy sneakers. They even have a lovely pocket on the tongue, to tuck in the lace ties. Smooth!

When I got home, I happily discovered that I forgot to buy cheese, which gave me an excuse to put these shoes back on for another market run.

Did I mention that I love these shoes?

Great shoe. I've been using these for commuting and have done a short tour with them. I always go up one size with cycling shoes and these fit great. Easy to walk in aswell. I work shift work so often ride at night and these are quite bedazzling in cars headlights. Love the look of them too!!

Since I posted my original review I discovered that the tongue has a pocket on it in which you slip the top of the laces after tying the shoe...it works great. This shoe is awesome.

My feet are happy!!

(Avid Cyclist) April 22, 2011

Sizing tip: I wear size 8 dress shoes and size 8.5 running shoes. The size 40 fit my feet wonderfully. I am really impressed with the quality and look of the shoes as well as their comfort. The only thing that would make me like them better would be a tab covering the top of the laces when the shoes are tied.

Service comments: As always great customer service and speedy delivery.

Perfect for spin class

(Casual/ Recreational) March 2, 2011

I bought these shoes for spin class. They are perfect. I was very frustrated when I began my search for the perfect spin shoe. I am not an outdoor cyclist, so I needed a shoe that was comfortable to wear all the way to the gym. They are comfortable like a running shoe. I can even wear them for weight training. I wear a size 9 in an Asics running shoe, so I ordered a size 41. Fits great. My pedal stroke has improved with these shoes. They make for an all around more comfortable and efficient spin session.
