So cute and comfortable

May 23, 2012

This skirt capri is definitely the most comfortable pair of cycling bottoms. The mesh like capri legs are breathable and just the right fit. If you have muscular thighs these are a perfect fit! I get so many compliments every time I wear them.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Good Fit
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
  • Dries Quickly
Cons
Uses
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Cute, but seriously lacking in quality

(Avid Cyclist) April 8, 2012

I received these skorts yesterday and wore them out for a 60 mile ride today. Within a couple hours there was already a hole worn in the pant leg. The pants are a very see through mesh, so if you go commando (which you should when you wear padded shorts), and the winds hits, you are going to show your rear crack to everyone behing you. The padding in the crotch was very poor to the point where it folded in and started riding up my backside. I continually had to stop and pull my "wedgie" out. Needless to say, it made for a very uncomfortable ride. The idea of the skirt over the capris sounded cute, but unfortunately this item is completely impractical. I will definitely be returning these. Bummer.

Pros
  • Breathable
Cons
  • Pant tears very easily
  • Not Enough Padding
  • Chafes
  • VERY see through pant
Uses
  • Warm Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Love it ! Love it!

(Casual/ Recreational) September 1, 2011

My first cycling clothing ever. Wasn't sure how I was going to like it -- but it's been GREAT! Haven't been on my bike for 18 years, but my new cycling outfit makes me feel good, look good, and ready to roll ! Wear it mountain biking on rugged trails. It keeps me cool and comfortable in our summer heat. I like that it's a skirt and that it covers those areas that shorts just won't.

  • Durable

Pretty Cute, Functional, Pretty Good

(Avid Cyclist) September 16, 2010

I read the other reviews & had to jump in--yes, it's a bit see-through, but I wear black undies and don't feel too obscene--the legging fabric is just thin (and, FYI, will easily snag on any velcro near your seat, badly) but it's adequate. I like mine mostly for style--it's basically very cute, there's actually a good chamois, and if you are careful with it, it's relatively durable, but you can't be rough with it washing it or pulling it on or off. It has no pockets, which is a downer, since I am girl-y enough to ride a bike in a skirt, I am girl-y enough to carry lip gloss, a key, etc. GIRLS NEED POCKETS!! I'd give it 4 stars for design alone--though it's true you need to think through the undergarment issue--it ain't made to go commando in! I'm definitely keeping it.

Pros
  • Good Padding
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
Cons
  • Inadequate Pockets
  • Delicate Fabric
Uses
  • Road Biking
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

peep show on a bike!

(Avid Cyclist) September 4, 2010

Don't get me wrong, I love them. they are comfy and cool and cute.
BUT
They are see-through under the skirt part! and if you are apple shaped, like me, the skirt part can work it's way up over your hips, and you might find yourself mooning traffic.
I went on a 25 mile ride yesterday and about 15 miles in I noticed that things were feelin' pretty breezy back there. A car started honking at me for no darned good reason. I gave them the look of death and a "what the heck is your problem" jesture before escaping onto a nearby trail head where I noticed that my skirt had wiggled up. the trip home was punctuated with constant tuggs on the skirt to make sure it was in place. When I got home I looked at my behind in the mirror and was horrified to see that EVERYTHING is perfectly visible when my flirty little skirt gets frisky in the breeze! Yikes!

Mesh means Mesh

(Casual/ Recreational) July 8, 2010

Leggings appears to be much more opaque in the picture than they actually are. They are in fact quite see-thru all the way up which I consider to be a huge issue. If the skirt pulls up when you ride the padding is actually evident through the leggings. These would have been much better if the shorts portion were complete opaque and the legs mesh. As it is a slip of the skirt means undergarments are visible.

Pros
  • Dries Quickly
  • Breathable
  • Good Padding
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • See-thru leggings
Uses
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Simply Great!

(Casual/ Recreational) April 3, 2010

Love riding in a skirt - especially for the post-ride coffee, etc. This skirt/capri combo has been great for the early spring rides when I want a bit more coverage on the leg. The skirt is a great fabric with some stretch. The capri is a light mesh. The padding is fantastic. Would love this in a full pant/skirt as well!
