Puffy and soft, just like a cloud! Louis Garneau’s Nimbus glove has two different gels and air vents all over to keep you from over-exertion and overheating. Pre-curved to fit a woman’s hands, there’s no more bunching or hot spots of irritation. As great as they are to wear, a favorite feature may be the elastic puller on the fingers which keep them from getting misshapen when off your hands. A great cycling glove, no question.

Susan says: One of my favorite hot/warm weather gloves! The top fabric is so light and airy and the perforated palm keeps my hands from overheating. My current pair has held up for two seasons of hard use. Not too shabby!

Squeezes fingers, runs small

August 19, 2011

My hand is a 7" circumference and the large glove still feels small. I rode 18 miles tonight and lost feeling in my middle and ring fingers on both hands. I don't have particularly fat fingers. I was expecting more comfort and less blood flow restriction for a [$] glove.

Pros
  • Lightweight

Comfy/Good Looking

(Practical, Stylish, High-end shopper) December 28, 2010

I love the look of these gloves and they are extremely comfortable. However the colour runs and the white is now grey. So all in all not a great investment as after one wear and a rinse they look discoloured and shabby.

  • Lightweight
  • Good Grip

  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Comfy glove

(Comfort-oriented, Stylish, Fit, High-end shopper, Practical) November 15, 2010

There is never enough padding in my cycling gloves. Ergo, I have a problem with buying them. But these were a pleasant surprise and have plenty in the forehand and are a bit sparse in the heel of the hand, but they'll do. The finger openings feel tight, but aren't. On the relatively short rides I do, it is not a problem. Overall, I am happy with this glove.

  • Well Padded
  • Dry

  • Good Grip
  • Durable

Disappointing

July 4, 2010

I really wanted to love these gloves! The look of the white/gray is great and I'm a big LG shorts fan. Unfortunately on long summer rides (40-60 miles) when your fingers have a tendancy to swell, these gloves constrain the finger where it meets the palm - especially ring finger and pinkie. Cannot recommend for right now. Will try again for autumn riding.

Another pleasant surprise...

(High-end shopper) May 5, 2010

This was my other glove purchase from the spring line. What a nice glove! The fabric is soft, meshy, pliable & breathes well. The padding is thick, gives good support, but is not too thick to be painful. Initially, I thought the glove might be too stiff in the palm. But I'm glad I kept the glove & gave it a chance. After a couple of wears & some sweating into it, it's softened up considerably. I thought the pull tabs located on the inside of the fingers might irritate me, too, but I find I no longer notice them anymore. I also like the holes in the velcro strap, makes the strap a whole lot lighter weight.

On a style note, I got both colors. The white w/ grey is a gorgeous look.
