Fantastic!

(Casual/ Recreational) October 18, 2014

I felt that these ran very true-to-size; I measured my body, compared it to the size chart, and they fit perfectly! I'm about 5'11'' and 170 lbs, very curvy on the bottom. It can sometimes be challenging for me to find clothes that fit both my waist and my butt. These are perfect, and the "Hug Fit" waistband is actually pretty awesome. The waist band is wide, which eliminates the probability of muffin top. When I first put them on I was a little nervous because it didn't feel like there was enough padding towards the front of my crotch, but as soon as I sat on my seat everything shifted to the right place. They were comfortable for 30 miles and I think they would be comfortable for longer rides as well. The padding is a little thinner than on some of my less expensive capris, but I think it's BETTER padding; it does the job just as well without the bulk. They are also very breathable, which could be a concern for ladies in cooler climates. Living in Virginia, I plan to be able to utilize these all winter, where the temperature rarely dips below freezing. They would be great for fall in cooler climates. Highly recommend!

Perfect for Cooler Temps

(Competitive Cyclist) October 17, 2014

I cycle year round and use these knickers when it is too cold for shorts, but not cold enough for tights. They keep my knees warm and have a flattering fit. No sausage legs like I get with knee warmers.

My favorite!

(Avid Cyclist) October 13, 2014

I ordered 5 different cycling knickers. 3 PI, 1sugio, 1LG. Loved the LG the best. I'm an XL. So true to fit, no tugging, adjusting, slipping up or down, digging in at the waste, love the chamois. I wore these for my first century. They were perfect!

Great Choice!

(Avid Cyclist) October 5, 2014

I bought the small based on other customers comment on size. I'm 5'5" 130 lbs. Leg hits right below my knee. I could use just a tab more padding, but I think that's sort of a personal thing. It's certainly not thin. Some people said it's great for cold mornings. I live in Seattle so if it was cold and raining I think it wouldn't be warm enough. For me it's perfct for colder summer or early fall mornings.

Excellent performers!

(Casual/ Recreational) September 23, 2014

I use these for everyday rides - 15 to 30 miles. They are really comfortable, the chamois is great, and the weight of the fabric is perfect for spring and autumn. I love the colour on these, it makes them really flattering and interesting to look at. They are well made and I like the length, as they go nicely below the knee but are not too long. If anything, the sizing is ever so slightly generous, but they are basically true to size.
I needed a go-to pair of over the knee knickers, and I have found them!

I'm totally in love with Louis Garneau shorts ! I have neo power (so lovely & compressive), pro comp tri shorts and these are my first capri. Love them as much as the others :-)
I will be getting another pair as they're so much easier & more confortable than shorts + knee warmers. Don't know why I've waited til now to get a pair !

Great cycling knickers!

(Avid Cyclist) December 29, 2013

I bought this for cooler winter rides here in Texas. I have thermal cycling pants for colder weather, but wanted something for "in between" weather to wear. These have definitely filled the bill. The first time I wore them, I did a 40 mile ride, they were quite comfortable and kept my legs warm.

Great knickers!

(Casual/ Recreational) January 13, 2013

I love these knickers. I searched for a long time for a pair of knickers that had the right padding, the right fabric, and weren't too tight around the calves. I found the perfect match in the Louis Garneau Pro Cycling Knickers. I'll get a lot of use out of them; especially during the fall and spring months. I usually wear a large in Louis Garneau cycling shorts, but found that the medium fit me better in these knickers. Thanks for carrying this product, Team Estrogen!

Just did a 62 mile ride on a cool autumn day and wore these capris for the first time and not only did they fit well, padding was just perfect and the quality is outstanding. Very comfortable

(Avid Cyclist) May 26, 2011

Very comfortable. Nice chamois that is thick, but not too thick. Love the fit in the calf area. Knickers are often a little too tight around my calf, but since these are super stretchy and don't have the grippy band, they are awesome. A little wide in the waist for me, but very comfortable!
