FIT NOTE:The PowerGrid Cortana is the most structured of the neutral, "natural running" shoes, and it offers slightly more cushioning and light stability. Natural running shoes have a smaller heel-to-toe drop (4mm for the Cortana) than most traditional run shoes (which are typically 10-12mm). This difference puts your heel closer to the ground and stretches the Achilles tendon more than traditional running shoes. If you've never run in the Cortana or other natural running shoe, we suggest slowly adding mileage while alternating with other training shoes. Adding mileage too quickly without the proper time to adapt can result in injury.

• The semi-curved last (the shape of the sole) is best for medium to high arches.
• The upper is made out of air mesh for breathability, with a Sauc-Fit to hold the foot and heel more securely to the platform.
