FIT NOTE:The Peregrine is classified as a "natural running" shoe (also sometimes referred to as a "minimalist" shoe"). Natural running shoes have a smaller heel-to-toe drop (4mm for the Peregrine) than most traditional run shoes (which are typically 10-12mm). This difference puts your heel closer to the ground and stretches the achillies tendon more than traditional running shoes. If you've never run in the Peregrine or other natural running shoe, we suggest slowly adding mileage while alternating with other training shoes. Adding mileage too quickly without the proper time to adapt can result in injury.
