Great bib!

(Avid Cyclist) November 6, 2013

This was my first set of bibs and I love them. So far I've only ridden while it was in the 50's and the warmth is just right so far. They are well padded and very comfortable through 25+ mile rides.

Pros
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
  • Warm
Cons
Uses
  • Cold Weather
  • Long Rides
  • Road Biking
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

saggy diaper

(Avid Cyclist) April 13, 2013

I wanted to love these tights. I have bib tights but never wanted to wear them in the winter because of all the layers to remove. I have other Gore bike clothes. I paid full price (I never pay full price) and had them sent to my parents in the US. They then sent them to me in Ireland. By this time, the time and expense of postage made me convince myself they fit rather than try to return them. They fit everywhere except where they really need to fit--the chamois. I thought they were just new and would adjust to my body, but after 3 rides of 25-50 miles, they are just getting saggier. Fine if you are sitting but not good if you ever get out of the saddle, and sometimes take a while to shift back into place when you sit down again. There is a weird split down the middle that makes the pad bend. I don't know if it's this or the size that makes the fit off. I wear medium in US and large in European shorts, and the medium matches my measurements on the size chart. And my rear end is plenty big enough to fill out most any shorts.

Good Bibs for me

(Avid Cyclist) November 25, 2011

I ride year round so I thought I would try these out. I wear them on my cold group ride days. So far I've been out in 20 degree weather and they kept me nice and toasty warm and they were comfortable.

The only reason they did not get 5 starts is because the zippers keep coming un done while riding. Which in turn make my sides a little chilly but it does nothing to the fit of theses great bibs.

Service comments: Fast easy wonderful
