Susan says: In the past few years, I've gotten very involved in the sport of randonneuring (a style of ultra-distance riding) and completed rides as far as 400km (250mi) in one day and (more importantly) one pair of shorts! I have a few favorites I always choose for these long rides, and the Gore Oxygen is one of them. The two features that make these shorts a long-distance rockstar are the non-elasticized flat front waist panel (no bunching, binding or pressure on my stomach) and the chamois, which stays in place, doesn't chafe, and hits my sit bones in the right place.
