Susan says: "I can't believe it's taken me this long to write a review of the Phantom Jacket! Maybe it's because I'm spending so much time RIDING in it that I haven't had time to write the review.
I love this jacket. It's one of the most versatile items in my closet. Just this weekend, for example, it was the only jacket I used on a ride that featured sun, scattered showers, morning temps in the low 30s, afternoon temps in the 60s, and everything in between.
In the coldest temps, the jacket keeps me quite warm with all the zippers closed. As it warms, I usually partially unzip the sleeves and create pit vents that allow air to flow better and keep my core at the right temps. Eventually I pull off the sleeves and stuff them into the back pockets. Having three easily-accessible, open back pockets to stuff the sleeves into, along with all the other junk I carry, is so convenient on a long ride."
NOTE: This jacket is constructed with waterproof materials. However, the inside seams are not taped so we do not classify this jacket as fully waterproof. For example, under steady rain conditions, wearers may find water entering the garment via the untaped seams.
