Linda says: "I wore the super cute DeSoto Carrera Tri Top & Carrera Low Rise Tri Short at the Gator Grinder triathlon. The fit was great on me. I'm short (just 5'2" !) and loved the length and rise of the short shorts. Pre-race, the 2-piece design made that nervous, last minute bathroom stop a piece of cake.

The Carrera tri top is longer in the torso, so it didn't gap at all in back while I was stretched out on my tri bike; no sunburn! It's long enough that it would cover women quite a bit taller than I am. I also liked the easy-to-reach pocket in the back for securely holding my Gu.

I'd totally recommend this suit for *your* next tri. After all, I won my age group, so it must be FAST!"

The absolute best tri shorts!!

(Avid Cyclist) April 19, 2012

Nice shorts! No elastic leg openings an minimal pad. This is perfect for me as I have built in padding. These are perfect for shorter distance tris and dus and if you hate padding, like me, you can prolly go iron distance in them.

Pros
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
  • Dries Quickly
  • Durable
  • Good Fit
  • Sausage link minimizing
Cons
  • Inadequate Pockets
Uses
  • Warm Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Fantastic!

(Avid Cyclist) October 20, 2011

I'm a triathlete and these shorts are great, even for 3-4 hour rides (that's as far as I've taken them). The seams are flat, the padding minimalist yet adequate, the rise is perfection. The inseam is short but not too short (size S inseam ~4") and they are also very comfortable when you jump off the bike and transition to the run. They are the most flattering Tri shorts I've ever worn. I am very happy with these shorts.

Pros
  • Breathable
  • Comfortable
  • Good Fit
  • Good Padding
Cons
Uses
  • Road Biking
