Designed for targeted muscle support during warm weather triathlon training and competition, CW-X Support Web technology provides support to the areas that a triathlete uses most— the core, hip flexors and back. Mesh ventilation panels allow hot air to escape and cool air to enter, reducing fatigue and improving circulation. Recover faster with the help of this amazing Tri Short.

FIT NOTE: If you find yourself in the "grey area" between sizes on this chart, CW-X recommends sizing up to the next size.

Mesh ventilation panels in the quadriceps allow hot air to escape and cool air to enter, reducing heat fatigue and improving circulation. The Support Web™ harnesses the midsection, supporting the lower abdominals, hips and back to channel power through the core. The Support Web also provides targeted support to the IT band and it engages the hamstring and quadricep muscles for greater stability and improved performance. Variable compression facilitates circulation during and after activity, minimizing lactic acid build-up so that you can be active longer and recover faster.

Love it

(Avid Cyclist) March 4, 2013

I use these shorts for spinning and cycling. They have a great fit, the mesh-like fabric on the front makes them great for warm weather. The padding is a bit on the thin side thus the 4 stars, otherwise they're great.

Pros
  • Good Fit
Cons
  • Not Enough Padding
Uses
  • Fitness
  • Running
  • Warm Weather
  • Waist: Feels true to size
  • Length: Feels true to length

Love these shorts

(Avid Cyclist) September 25, 2012

great tri shorts, I wore them in an iron distance triathlon. It was wonderful having the compression and support the shorts provided. I wore an additional pair of bike shorts over them for the 112 mile ride. More padding in the shorts was perfect, more would have been too much on the swim and run. They held up well for entire 140.6 miles!

  • Comfortable
  • Dries Quickly
  • Good Support
  • Good Fit
  • Breathable
  • Good compression

Tight, but that's a good thing

(Avid Cyclist) November 10, 2011

I did not go up one size and they were tight, but that's what I wanted as I raced a sprint distance tri in them and they were sleek and comfortable during all 3 disciplines. I'm 5'10 and they came to my knee caps - if I was shorter I wouldn't have liked them as much I don't think.

Fit well, very cool

(Casual/ Recreational) July 12, 2011

I usually wear a small but bought the medium based on the comments in the description. I would say the medium was a good choice. They are tight but not too tight like my other compression shorts. I can definitely feel a difference on the bike. The padding is typical tri padding ... light but adequate. It seems fine to me but maybe I'd feel differently after a seriously long road ride. I wear them for commuting and mountain biking. They also work well for outrigger paddling. Also I'm only 5'2" and found the length worked well. Only recommendation would be to go a size up. I'm glad I did.

Comfortable-Supportive-Flattering

(Competitive Cyclist) June 7, 2011

These shorts are comfortable enough to wear on long, long rides. The pad is a standard tri pad but it covers more area and is sewn in very nicely so it is very comfortable. You can feel the support in your hips and legs but it is not binding and the contrast stitching and absence of rubber leg grippers makes them more flattering than most tri shorts. You will look sleek and feel great in these shorts. The cooling panels on the top of the thigh really do keep the skin cooler. I will wear these for my next Ironman--exceptional quality and fit. The only negative is that they are very long. That works OK for me because I am 5'11' but they come to my knees so shorter women may think these are too long.
