Susan says: "Toe covers are a simple, uncomplicated wardrobe item, but it's still amazing how small details make a big difference in performance. The ColdFront Toe Warmers are my go-to toe covers because they are so durable. The bottoms are reinforced, so even though I'm on and off my bike alot on some rides, I've not worn holes in them yet. They even survived a "hike" across a muddy, gravelly farmers field when I *really* needed a blue room and a muddy hike was the only way to get there!"

Great Product!

(Casual/ Recreational) September 29, 2012

These toe covers are great, they keep my toes nice and warm when it's just not quite cold enough for whole shoe covers.
The only downfall with them is they're not quite long enough to go past where my cleat sits, as such the cleat is slowly tearing through the elastic.
Which I can have replaced so not too big of an issue.

Pros
  • Dry Easily
  • Warm
  • Comfortable
Cons
Uses
  • Sizing: Feels true to size

Ok, but watch the edging!

(Avid Cyclist) September 24, 2012

After 2nd wear the edging came off one of the sides and I wasn't rough. Not as warm as I was expecting, but better than nothing for days that are too warm for full booties. I like the reinforcing under the toe - other than the edging problem they look good quality.

Pros
  • Warm
  • Comfortable
  • Dry Easily
Cons
  • Easily Damaged

Not as great as expected

(Avid Cyclist) October 4, 2011

The toe warmers do what they say they do, they keep your toes warm in cooler weather while cycling. However, on my first ride using them, the elastic strap that goes underneath the shoe and behind the cleat on biking shoes started to rip. It may have gotten caught on the cleat. Also, they didn't stay put as well as I had hoped. If I needed to put my foot on the ground when stopping the toe warmers sometimes moved out of place and I had to readjust them. They are OK, but not as great as I expected.

Pros
  • Warm
Cons
  • Strap ripped

Fit very nicely on my size 31 Specialized MTB shoes. I haven't used them in too cold weather yet, but they seem like they'll do the job of keeping my toes a bit warmer nicely.
