FIT NOTE: The PureCadence is classified as a "natural running" shoe (also sometimes referred to as a "minimalist" shoe"), but with more support through smart, streamlined features. Natural running shoes have a smaller heel-to-toe drop (4mm for the PureCadence) than most traditional run shoes (which are typically 10-12mm). This difference puts your heel closer to the ground and stretches the Achilles tendon more than traditional running shoes. If you've never run in the PureCadence or other natural running shoe, we suggest slowly adding mileage while alternating with other training shoes. Adding mileage too quickly without the proper time to adapt can result in injury.
