Anna says: I LOVE running in the woods and my Cascadias make it easy! They feel light and effortlessly navigate the unpredictable trail surface. I tend to seek out trails with lots of elevation gain and these shoes fit my foot just right, there are no hot spots and no rubbing anywhere, they sit securely in place. They provide just enough support with the Pivot posts in the critical spots. The color looks rad against the brown of the earth and the tongue detailing keeps all of the little sticks and pebbles out of shoes so I don't have to think about it. I always get compliments on my footwear when I run I these lime green gems. I also feel good about supporting Brooks since they are at the forefront of pushing more sustainable manufacturing processes and materials in run footwear. Well done!

Cute & great traction but narrow toe box

(Stylish) December 10, 2011

I really loved the look and initial feel of these shoes. When I put them on and before I went out for a run, I thought these would be the best trail shoes , ever. Great traction and cushy ride, but way too tight in the fore foot causing major blisters at mile five along with one bruised toe. Very disappointing. I believe the seams located in the inside of the shoe bilaterally at the fore foot are the problem. I tried re-lacing, taking out the inserts, but ultimately both the insides of my feet rubbed on the seam...no way around it. I'll be returning these.
