I used to cycle a lot in college but never got into specialized clothing
or gear. Now just going for a 5 mile ride with my kids makes my crotch
uncomfortable. I don't necessarily think it is my seat but rather that
I could benefit from cycling shorts. My concern is that I am prone to
yeast infections and wonder how my body will respond to Lycra. I don't
even wear nylons unless I cut out the crotch-sorry to be explicit but
that is how sensitive I am. I have the infections pretty much under
control with diet, supplements and making sure I don't wear tight jeans,
sit around in a wet bathing suit etc. Is anyone else prone to yeast
infections and if so how has cycling affected it? Thank you.

Speaking of Spring...I can only brag. Today was most glorious in Los
Angeles. Sterling. Sunny, slightly cool, and not a bit of wind. Wew!
Quite refreshing after a two week bout of rain. (Oh, I should be
grateful) One day I got brave and rode in the rain, but had to take
three days off to recover from a resulting head cold. Today with clear
skies and clear sinuses, 19 miles felt like a little spin around the
block.
