I cycle for many reasons - fun, fitness, and the feeling of freedom that it gives me. At one point in my life, I was overweight and sedentary. Then I found cycling and it quite literally opened up a whole new world for me. My bike has taken me to some pretty neat places (Japan, New Zealand) and I've made some life-long friends.
I truly hope that more women find their way to cycling and the pleasures it can bring to their lives.
